New England Patriots running back Ezekiel Elliott (thigh) was listed as limited on Monday's practice estimate for Week 14 against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday.
Elliott is expected to be the Patriots' lead back on the short week after Rhamondre Stevenson injured his ankle in Sunday's Week 13 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. The Patriots will likely limit the veteran's reps throughout the week, but Elliott should be fine for Thursday's matchup in Pittsburgh. Ty Montgomery and JaMycal Hasty could see some snaps behind Elliott.
Stevenson played 17 of 64 offensive snaps (26.6%) in Week 13 and rushed 9 times for 39 yards before leaving. Zeke played all the other running back snaps and rushed 17 times for 52 yards, and caught 4 passes (5 targets) for 40 yards. The Steelers are ranked 19th in FanDuel points allowed per game to running backs this season.
