The Cleveland Browns allowed quarterback Joe Flacco to revert back to the practice squad following the team's Week 13 game against the Los Angeles Rams.
The Browns elevated Flacco from the practice squad ahead of Sunday's game to become their starter for the weekend, but the veteran then reverted back to the practice squad following the game. Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski told media members Monday that the team has not officially decided on their starter for their upcoming Week 14 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson is still in the concussion protocol, but could return during the week.
Flacco arguably looked like the most competent quarterback the Browns have started all year during the loss. He completed 23 of 44 passes for 254 yards, 2 touchdowns and an interception while taking 2 sacks. Having Flacco under center provided a much-needed boost to Elijah Moore, who could be in line for a big Week 14 if Flacco starts and Amari Cooper (concussion) sits.
