The New Orleans Saints listed wide receiver Chris Olave (ankle) with a DNP designation on their estimated injury report for Thursday's Week 16 game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Olave was unable to practice at all in the leadup to the Saints' Week 15 game but still held out hope that he could suit up until the team's pregame warmups. A DNP to open his short week of prep for Week 16 isn't a great sign, but the star receiver still has two more days of practice remaining before Thursday's game against Los Angeles.
Olave sadly missed what was arguably Derek Carr's best game of the year, with Carr completing 82.1% of his passes and throwing 3 touchdowns for the first time all year. If Olave is able to return in Week 16, hopefully he and Carr will be able to emulate the team's strong Week 15 performance.
