Atlanta Falcons quarterback Taylor Heinicke will start over Desmond Ridder in Week 16 against the Indianapolis Colts, according to multiple reports.
Heinicke is replacing Ridder as the starting quarterback for the second time this season. He has completed 41 of 74 pass attempts for 498 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 1 interception in three games (two starts). The 30-year-old journeyman also has 9 carries for 68 yards. Heinicke will likely be a lateral move for Drake London and the rest of the Falcons' pass-catchers.
