Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed (toe) did not practice on Thursday for Week 16 against the Carolina Panthers.
Reed exited the Packers' Week 15 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers early with a toe injury. Christian Watson (hamstring) also remained out on Thursday, so Dontayvion Wicks and Romeo Doubs may be Jordan Love's top targets on Sunday afternoon in Carolina. Tucker Kraft and Malik Heath would also be in line for more work. Reed drew a team-high 8 targets last week and caught 6 of them for 52 yards and a touchdown.
The Panthers have the No. 18 pass defense and No. 30 run defense in numberFire's opponent-adjusted efficiency rankings, so the Packers may look to focus more on the ground game even if their receivers are healthy.
