The Cleveland Browns listed David Njoku (rest, knee) as a non-participant in their estimated injury report ahead of Thursday's Week 17 game against the New York Jets.
Njoku appears to be following his usual practice patterns by sitting out the Browns' early-week practices, but as always it will be important to monitor the star tight end's health as the week goes on. Look for him to return to practice Wednesday.
Njoku is in the midst of an impressive breakout since Joe Flacco took over quarterbacking duties, with 24 catches for 256 yards and 4 touchdowns over their last 4 games. He should be in for another heavy workload against the Jets on Thursday.
