New York Jets quarterback Trevor Siemian will start in Week 17 against the Cleveland Browns on Thursday, per head coach Robert Saleh.
Siemian will make a second straight start after Zach Wilson (concussion) was ruled out again. He completed 27 of 49 passes for 217 yards, a touchdown, and an interception in the Jets' 30-28 win over the Washington Commanders on Sunday. Siemian and the offense will face a much tougher test in Cleveland on Thursday night.
Siemian has a $13,500 single-game salary in Week 17 and numberFire's models project him for 10.8 FanDuel points. The Browns have the No. 1 overall defense and No. 1 pass defense in numberFire's opponent-adjusted efficiency metrics for the season. They also allow the third-fewest FanDuel points per game to opposing quarterbacks (14.0).
