Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones (hamstring) was limited at practice on Wednesday for Week 17 against the Carolina Panthers.
Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said earlier this week he's optimistic Jones will be able to play after missing Sunday's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. There will be fewer targets for Calvin Ridley and less snaps for Tim Jones, Parker Washington, and Jamal Agnew if Zay is cleared for action.
The Panthers are only allowing the fifth-fewest FanDuel points per game to receivers and fourth-most to running backs, so the Jaguars may look to rely more on Travis Etienne after struggling through the air in recent weeks. Per numberFire's opponent-adjusted efficiency rankings, Carolina has the No. 21 pass defense and No. 30 run defense in the league.
