Minnesota Vikings rookie quarterback Jaren Hall will start in Week 17 against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night, per head coach Kevin O'Connell.
Hall will take over for Nick Mullens and make his second start of the season. In the first start, he completed 3 of 4 pass attempts for 23 yards and lost a fumble, before Josh Dobbs replaced him in the second quarter. He made one other relief appearance and completed 5 of 6 attempts for 78 yards.
The Packers have the fourth-worst pass defense in the NFL this season, according to numberFire's opponent-adjusted efficiency rankings, so Hall should benefit from a plus matchup. Our models project him for 16.8 FanDuel points on Sunday night and he's the QB13 in our Week 17 rankings.
