Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill will start in Week 18 against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday if Will Levis (foot) is unavailable, per head coach Mike Vrabel.
Tannehill started in Week 16 when Levis was out with an ankle injury and he entered in relief on Sunday after the rookie exited with a foot injury. He completed 34 of 46 passes for 320 yards in those two games, with no touchdowns and no turnovers. The 35-year-old veteran also rushed twice for 37 yards. Tannehill will take the first-team reps on Wednesday if Levis is held out of practice.
The Jaguars have the No. 11 pass defense in the league this season, according to numberFire's opponent-adjusted efficiency metrics. Among the 36 quarterbacks with at least 200 dropbacks this season, Levis is No. 24 and Tannehill is No. 27 in Passing Net Expected Points per attempt.
