Atlanta Falcons quarterback Taylor Heinicke (ankle) will be limited at practice on Wednesday for Week 18 versus the New Orleans Saints.
Heinicke is dealing with an ankle injury ahead of the last game of the regular season, but he's on track to play in New Orleans on Sunday afternoon. Desmond Ridder will draw the start if Heinicke is unavailable. Heinicke completed 10 of 29 pass attempts for 163 yards, 1 touchdown, and 3 interceptions in last week's loss to the Chicago Bears. He also rushed 4 times for 46 yards and a touchdown.
numberFire's models project Heinicke for 14.4 FanDuel points and he's the QB17 in our Week 18 rankings. The Saints are allowing the ninth-fewest FanDuel points per game to quarterbacks this season and their pass defense is eighth-best in the league, according to our opponent-adjusted efficiency rankings.
