Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis (foot) has been ruled out for Week 18 against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, per head coach Mike Vrabel.
Ryan Tannehill will start in place of Levis for the Titans' last game of the season. Levis returned to practice on Thursday after sitting out on Wednesday, but the Titans are going to play it safe with their rookie quarterback. Tannehill will be making his second start and third appearance in three games for Tennessee. He completed 34 of 46 passes for 320 yards in those two games, with no touchdowns and no turnovers. The 35-year-old veteran also rushed twice for 37 yards.
The Jaguars have the No. 11 pass defense in the league this season, according to numberFire's opponent-adjusted efficiency metrics. Among the 36 quarterbacks with at least 200 dropbacks this season, Levis is No. 24 and Tannehill is No. 27 in Passing Net Expected Points per attempt.
