Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Chase Edmonds (toe) did not participate in Wednesday's walk-through practice for the Divisional Round against the Detroit Lions.
Edmonds played 20 snaps on offense and recorded eight touches in the Buccaneers' win over the Philadelphia Eagles in the Wild Card Round. He was the only Tampa Bay running back to see the field on offense behind Rachaad White. If Edmonds is unavailable or limited for Sunday's game in Detroit, Sean Tucker will likely take over backup duty. That could also result in more touches for White.
numberFire's models project Edmonds for 4.4 FanDuel points in the Divisional Round, with 6.4 touches and 29.4 yards from scrimmage. The Lions have the eighth-best run defense in the NFL, according to our opponent-adjusted efficiency metrics, and they allowed the fewest FanDuel points to running backs in the regular season.
