The Tennessee Titans are signing running back Tony Pollard to a three-year, $24 million contract.
Derrick Henry is expected to join another team this offseason, so Pollard will likely form a split backfield with 2023 third-round pick Tyjae Spears. Pollard set career-highs with 252 carries and 55 catches last season as the lead back for the Dallas Cowboys, but he averaged just 4.3 yards per touch, down from 5.9 yards the previous year.
Pollard averaged 11.8 FanDuel points per game for the Cowboys last season, with 252 carries, 1,005 rushing yards, 6 touchdowns, 55 catches (67 targets), and 311 receiving yards. Among the 23 backs with at least 200 carries, Pollard was No. 13 in Rushing Net Expected Points per carry.
