New Orleans Saints wide receiver Brandin Cooks "looks ready to explode" this season, per ESPN reporter Mike Triplett.
Cooks went bonkers over the final nine games of the season, catching nearly a touchdown per game and earning at least 70 yards in six of those weeks. Entering his third season, Cooks is still just 22 years old with plenty of room for growth.
Our models currently project Cooks to come up short of that projection, forecasting him to tally 1061.40 yards on 87.36 catches with 9.06 touchdowns. Out of the 48 wide receivers with at least 80 targets last season, he finished 20th in the league in Reception Net Expected Points per target.
