Seattle Seahawks running back C.J. Prosise rushed four times for 23 yards in his preseason debut Thursday night.
The numbers are underwhelming, but this was significant progress for the third-round pick. Prosise worked as Seattle's first-team third-down back behind Christine Michael, while also working in on some second-and-long opportunities. With both Michael and Thomas Rawls not providing much in the passing game, Prosise may wind up with a role in the offense to open the season. The rookie is on the radar in re-draft formats, while he should be owned in all Dynasty leagues.
Our models currently project Prosise as the second-most valuable back in Seattle, behind Rawls, but in front of Michael. We expect Prosise to rush for 277 yards and 2.88 touchdowns on 77 attempts during his rookie campaign, adding 50 catches for 363 yards and 0.47 scores through the air.
