Cleveland Browns rookie wide receiver Corey Coleman broke his hand at Wednesday's practice, reports team beat writer Mary Kay Cabot.
Maybe the Browns really aren't allowed to have nice things. The break reportedly occurred when someone fell on Coleman's hand after he made a catch during Wednesday's practice. The 15th-overall selection from this year's draft exploded for five catches, 104 yards and two touchdowns in the second game of his NFL career this past Sunday. It's unknown how bad the break is and what his timetable could be looking like. The Browns lost a pair of offensive linemen in Cam Erving (lung) and Carl Nassib (hand) in Week 2's loss to the Baltimore Ravens, in addition to Josh McCown (shoulder).
Among the 76 wide receivers with at least 10 targets this season, Coleman's 1.31 Reception Net Expected Points per target are the fourth-most in the NFL.
