The Denver Broncos placed running back C.J. Anderson on injured reserve with a torn meniscus.
Anderson will miss at least the next eight weeks of the season, which puts him back sometime around the playoffs. If the Broncos can hang on to a playoff spot, he should be able to return this season. Devontae Booker will take over as the lead back in the Denver backfield.
Our projections have Booker rushing for 73 yards and 0.40 touchdowns on 15 carries in Week 8, while adding 21 yards through the air on three receptions.
