Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb (hamstring) is not expected to play in Week 8 against the Atlanta Falcons, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Per Schefter, the Packers are "being careful" with Cobb, whose hamstring injury limited his practice participation all week. The Packers could move Jordy Nelson into the slot -- where he has played before -- and run Davante Adams and Jeff Janis as perimeter receivers, since Ty Montgomery will be in the backfield. Cobb's absence boosts the usage projections for Montgomery and Adams.
Montgomery's presence as a dual threat runner-receiver this week has made him the 11th-best fantasy wide receiver for the week, with 15 total touches for 80 yards from scrimmage and 0.40 touchdowns.
