Washington Redskins left tackle Trent Williams has been suspended for four games by the NFL for violating the league's substance-abuse policy.
This is the second suspension of Williams' career (marijuana, 2011), but was completely unexpected. The timing is unfortunate, as the trade deadline just passed a few hours ago, and Washington now has a massive need for help on the left side of their offensive line. He has missed just three games in the past five years while helping Kirk Cousins become a top-12 quarterback in fantasy football.
The Redskins currently rank sixth in overall Adjusted Net Expected Points (NEP) per play, seventh in Adjusted Passing NEP per play and 18th in Adjusted Rushing NEP per play.
