Denver Broncos running back Devontae Booker was about to get "overtaken" by Kapri Bibbs before Bibbs suffered a year-ending ankle injury, 9 News Denver's Mike Klis believes.
Klis allowed this was entirely "in my estimation." Still, it's a possible indication that the Broncos are indeed growing frustrated with Booker's lack of decisiveness and inability to generate positive gains. He has averaged just 2.80 yards per carry over the last five games. It would not be surprising if new waiver claim Justin Forsett were mixed into the game plan as soon as Week 14 at the Tennessee Titans.
Booker has earned -0.10 Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) per attempt on 128 carries this season. On 24 carries prior to Week 13, Bibbs had earned -0.07 Rushing NEP per attempt.
