The New England Patriots might be without a real depth chart at the running back position.
ESPN's Mike Reiss writes that the running back group is deep and talented and that any running back could be featured at one time or another. Before Rex Burkhead's recent emergence, Mike Gillislee was the favorite for a heavy workload, but it's looking like a running back by committee between he, Burkhead, James White and Dion Lewis.
If you're not totally avoiding the Patriots backfield, we project Gillislee to be the lead back for fantasy purposes. His projections of 142.3 rushes, 704.7 yards and 5.8 touchdowns have him down as RB27 in our rankings.
