Green Bay Packers running back Jamaal Williams (knee) made an early exit from Thursday night's game against the Chicago Bears.
Williams was filling in for Ty Montgomery, who left with suspected broken ribs, and he notched only 4 carries for 11 yards before he joined Montgomery in the locker room. Rookie Aaron Jones out of UTEP is the next man up in the Packers' backfield, though look for them to also potentially add a free agent back if both Williams and Montgomery are forced to miss extended time.
Before the injury news, numberFire's models projected Williams for 53.9 carries, 219.5 yards and 1.7 touchdowns over the remainder of the season.
