Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck (shoulder) has been placed on Injured Reserve and will not play this season.
This confirms what many have speculated for weeks and it's fair to wonder if Luck had any real chance of playing this season. If there's any silver lining for Colts' fans and dynasty owners, it's that the franchise quarterback should be 100 percent healthy for the start of the 2018 campaign. Until then, Jacoby Brissett will remain the starter under center in Indianapolis.
In five seasons, Luck has gone 43-27 while completing 1570-of-2651 passes (59.2 percent) for 19,078 yards with 132 touchdowns and 68 interceptions.
