Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans' suspension was upheld by jointly appointed appeals officer James Thrash, and he will be out for Week 10 against the New York Jets.
Evans was suspended one game after blindsiding New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore after a play in Week 9's loss. He was not ejected for that game, but he will be out against the Jets in Week 10 after his appeal was denied. Without him in the lineup, DeSean Jackson, Adam Humphries, and Cameron Brate stand to see a bigger share of targets, but it will be from Ryan Fitzpatrick with Jameis Winston out as well.
Our models project Evans for 42.4 catches, 616.0 receiving yards, and 3.8 touchdowns over the remainder of the season.
