Bengals' Joe Mixon (concussion) misses Wednesday's practice
Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon (concussion) did not practice on Wednesday.
Mixon made an early exit when he was concussed in the first half of Week 13's matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and it looks like he's a long-shot to suit up this week. Gio Bernard will handle the Bengals' lead-back role in his absence.
Mixon has had a reasonably efficient rookie campaign so far, and his -0.06 Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) per carry rank 34th among the 64 back that have at least 50 carries on the year.
