Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz suffered a torn ACL in Sunday's 43-35 victory over the Los Angeles Rams, head coach Doug Pederson confirmed.
Wentz exited in the third quarter on Sunday after scrambling for a touchdown that was called back. It's obviously a massive blow to the Eagles' hopes of making a deep playoff run, but Nick Foles will take over and be asked to do his best for a team that currently holds the best record in the NFL.
Wentz averaged 22.2 FanDuel points per game this season, with 265-of-440 completions for 3,296 passing yards, with 33 touchdowns and 7 interceptions, while adding 299 rushing yards on the ground.
