Free agent cornerback Aaron Colvin intends to sign a four-year deal with the Houston Texans, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Colvin was a standout in the slot last year for Jacksonville. He started five games as a fill-in for A.J. Bouye and Jalen Ramsey, who made Colvin all but expendable in the back end of the Jags' defense. The Texans will get an upgrade in hopes of Colvin continuing his stellar play in his fifth NFL season.
In 2017, Colvin rated out as Pro Football Focus' 47th-best corner. He ended the year with 37 tackles and 5 passes defensed.
