Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive back Vernon Hargreaves III has been placed on injured reserve with a torn labrum in his shoulder.
Hargreaves will miss the remainder of the season, leaving the Buccaneers' secondary without its top slot corner. The 11th overall pick in the 2016 draft missed seven games last season due to a hamstring injury and has largely failed to live up to expectations during his time in the league.
Hargreaves recorded 7 tackles (6 solo), a pass deflection, and a forced fumble in Week 1 before exiting.
