Players to target: Artemi Panarin, Alexander Wennberg, and Cam Atkinson
When we talk about star-studded lines, this one cannot be left out of the conversation.
The Columbus Blue Jackets add a point-per-game player in Artemi Panarin to a 59-point center (Wennberg) to a 35-goal scorer (Atkinson) this year. And while they will be owned a fair amount, this is a scary fade even for the riskiest GPP players on such a short slate.
The Wennberg line last year usually avoids the opposing top line when they are at home, meaning they will likely see Mathew Barzal, Justin Bailey, and Andrew Ladd. They will also see a lot of defensemen Calvin de Haan and Dennis Seidenber, who allowed 51 Corsi Against per 60 minutes when they were together in 2016-17.
In their home opener, the Jackets' top line has as much upside and correlation (all on the first power play unit) as anyone.
