Players to target: Steven Stamkos, Nikita Kucherov, and Victor Hedman
It's hard not to fire up the Tampa Bay Lightning's top line against the Pittsburgh Penguins, who are on a back-to-back and have been one of hockey's worst defensive teams so far. Pittsburgh has allowed the fifth-most Scoring Chances Against per 60 minutes at 36.9.
In a likely matchup with the Evgeni Malkin line, Stamkos and Kucherov should be able to get a bunch of shots and scoring chances -- that group is allowing 68 Corsi Against per 60 minutes. Stamkos' line, on the other hand, is posting 66.6 Corsi For per 60 minutes and a 57 Corsi For percentage, giving them the clear statistical advantage. These three will be expensive, but they make for a high-upside stack.
