Players to target: Jon Audy-Marchessault, William Karlsson, and Reilly Smith
The Vegas Golden Knights will get a home matchup with the Winnipeg Jets after a six-game road trip and they may get an offensive boost from their second line tonight. They have been solid in terms of possession, evidenced by a 58 Corsi For percentage with 64.3 Corsi For per 60 minutes and 4.2 expected Goals For per 60 minutes.
We don't know what their even-strength matchup will be specifically, but it most likely won't be against the Mark Scheifele line, which is the Jets' best possession unit. The Jets have done a decent job staying out of the penalty box, but on the penalty kill, they are fifth-worst in the NHL.
That's great news for this Vegas line, as they will all get power play time in some form tonight.
