Players to target: Mikael Granlund, Eric Staal, and Nino Niederreiter
This new-look Minnesota Wild line has gotten the results they wanted almost immediately, posting eight total real-world points in their first two games together, and tonight they could add to that total. We don't know how the Wild will want to match at even-strength, but the power-play matchup is great for them.
The Calgary Flames have the fourth-worst penalty kill in the NHL at 76.5 percent while the Wild have the fifth-best power play. This line is talented enough to create chances even against the "3M" line for Calgary, but they should also see a fair amount of time against the Sean Monahan line. At home, this seems like a spot in which this Wild trio could dominate.
