Players to target: Anze Kopitar, Alex Iafallo, and Dustin Brown
The Los Angeles Kings' first line will get a very good matchup against the Calgary Flames, who have been burned in their last several games against speedy lines with a physical net front presence (Anaheim and San Jose, in particular). It's safe to say the Kopitar line is rolling as they have combined for eight points in the last week.
The Kings are one of the more dominant teams in the league on home ice, averaging 2.81 goals per game in the split, which includes Kopitar's 1.4 points per contest at home since January 1st. The Mikael Backlund line does yield 38.4 Scoring Chances Against per 60 minutes and roughly 13 High-Danger Chances Against per 60 minutes on the road without Matthew Tkachuk. The Flames' penalty kill has been hovering around 80% since January 1st, so this Los Angeles line should also have multiple opportunities to score via the power play. Calgary is also without Sean Monahan and John Gaudreau.
