Players to target: Connor McDavid, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, and Ty Rattie
The Edmonton Oilers' top line will get a good matchup against the Columbus Blue Jackets, who allow 3.14 goals per game with a road penalty kill of 76%. Columbus is second in shooting percentage allowed at 6.9% (32 shots per 60), but we can overlook that because of McDavid and the fact that Nick Foligno is out for the Blue Jackets.
This line should match up well against any of the Blue Jackets' bottom-two lines, which have yielded nearly 37 Scoring Chances Against per 60 minutes and almost 14 High-Danger Chances Against per 60 minutes in the past month. McDavid historically has averaged more than a real-world point per game against Columbus, and he could continue that trend tonight.
Finally, Edmonton's top line is one of the hottest in the league over the past several days, producing a total of 16 real-world points in their last four games.
