4 FanDuel Premier League Players to Avoid in Matchweek 1
N'Golo Kante's ball-winning ways are well known, but he's not a big-time DFS producer. Which other players should you avoid this week?

Defender -- Cesar Azpilicueta, Chelsea

Salary: $7,000

Azpilicueta is the second-highest priced defender on the slate and should start at right back in Maurizio Sarriā€™s 4-3-3 formation as he did in the Community Shield against Manchester City. Azpilicueta can be a threat in the attack as he recorded 31 chances created, 6 assists and 2 goals last season, although the new formation may slightly limit his presence in the attack.

Chelsea should be competing for a Champions League spot this season -- and possibly a Premier League title -- and will open their campaign against Huddersfield, who will likely be in a relegation battle all season. As the largest favorite on the slate (-1.0), the Blues should dominate most of the match as Huddersfield have an implied team total of just 0.75 goals.

Azpilicueta does not normally pick up a large number of defensive actions as he averaged 3.22 clearances, 2.16 tackles, 1.46 interceptions and 0.59 blocked shots per 90 minutes last season and will now face a Huddersfield squad that should struggle to maintain possession and put pressure on the Blues' back line.

If DFS players are looking for a defender who gets involved in the attack, Watford's Jose Holebas ($6,500) should have an opportunity to send in a large number of crosses, which should lead to chances created and possibly an assist.
