Ownership is a key thing in DFS, and we talk about it a lot. But during the festive season, ownership is not as much of a concern.
First and foremost, there will be more games on the slate than normal. There will be more players available -- a lot more on Boxing Day -- which naturally helps to spread out ownership.
There will also be more squad rotation, making the player pool even deeper.
This can be a concern for casual players who may not have the time to research. Therefore, it may be good to stick with your most trusted method of roster creation and place ownership concerns lower than usual on your list of factors.
Of course. some of the big names will be highly owned, but there are enough players to create differentiation elsewhere. This may seem contradictory to the first trend we talked about, but ultimately, having more players at your disposal means it should be easier to find cap relief.
