The lone bright spot for Cardiff in recent weeks has been Camarasa. He has two goals in his last three matches, with his goal-less game coming against Manchester City. In his last two matches against non-elite opposition, he has produced FanDuel point totals of 22.6 and 37.3. If Cardiff is able to find a goal this weekend, it will likely be due to Camarasa.
Adding to the outlook is Camarasa's role on set pieces. He has taken the lion's share of dead-ball opportunities for Cardiff this season and should continue to do so this weekend. It isn't easy to feel comfortable pairing anyone else on Cardiff with Camarasa, but his role and production in recent weeks make playing him a fine one-off option, especially in a matchup against a Burnley side whose offense has been masking their defensive struggles.
While Burnley has been doing well in the final third, their defense has shown cracks. They have allowed 12 goals over the last six matches, including multiple goals to Newcastle, Crystal Palace, Leicester City, and Liverpool. They have kept a clean sheet in only four of their 16 home matches this season and seven of their 33 total Premier League matches -- a stark contrast from last campaign.
Relying on goals from Cardiff is always risky, but Camarasa's recent form combined with the lack of elite options on the slate make him worth the risk this weekend.
