FanDuel Price: $2,900
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Alex Gordon has been horrible all season, and with an especially deep outfield pool due to the Coors game, it doesn't seem likely people go out of their way to roster him with Kansas City possessing just the eighth-highest implied team total.
Why You Should Use Him:
After being mired in a season-long slump that may have been partially due to an injury, Gordon is now healthy and playing better than ever. He has hit safely in nine-straight games, including homers in three consecutive contests.
Gordon and the Royals look to stay hot in tonight's matchup against rookie Jose Berrios. After two horrible starts in his first call-up, Berrios hasn't fared any better the second time around. As a result, the talented young righty boasts a 9.32 ERA in seven forgettable starts this season.
Gordon has hit much better against right-handed pitching in his career and should have no problems with the rookie tonight. He's a viable play in all formats at his salary.
