Why He Will Go Overlooked:
The Pittsburgh Pirates offense has been struggling over the last two weeks, notching a .316 wOBA. They've been carried by strong starting pitching and not a whole lot of offense from the likes of Andrew McCutchen, Gregory Polanco and others. With the Pirates installed as moderate favorites (-136) and an implied team total of 4.01 runs, Pittsburgh doesn't figure to draw heavy ownership tonight.
Why You Should Use Him:
The Pirates' right-handed bats seem to be primed for a big opportunity against Collin McHugh. He has shown difficulty against same-sided bats, as he's allowed a .516 slugging percentage to righties so far this season.
In addition, McHugh has really struggled with home runs in the second half. Him home-runs-per-nine-innings rate has more than doubled from the first half to the second half, going from 1.15 to 2.31.
Marte is an expensive bat, and he's a viable option for both cash and tournament plays.
