4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Studs to Target on 8/25/16
Edwin Encarnacion has a juicy home matchup against Jered Weaver. What other high-priced players are poised to deliver?

Robinson Cano, 2B, Seattle Mariners

FanDuel Price: $4,000

As our own Jim Sannes covered in today's stacks piece, the Seattle Mariners are in a great spot against Chicago White Sox righty Anthony Ranaudo.

Through 69 career innings, Ranaudo owns a meager 10.9% strikeout rate with an ugly 11.9% walk rate. His career swinging-strike rate of 5.2% means there is nothing at all fluky about his horrid strikeout numbers. Poor guy is just having a tough time.

Ranaudo actually has reverse splits, but it's not like he's faring well against lefties, which puts Cano in a nice spot. Left-handed hitters are sporting a .344 wOBA against Ranaudo with a 42.3% fly-ball rate.

As an added boost, Cano and the Mariners get an escape from their spacious home park for this matchup at U.S. Cellular Field, which ranks ninth in home run factor. Cano -- our top-ranked bat -- has been crushing right-handed pitching this season. Seattle's second baseman boasts a .395 wOBA against righties, and that numbers spikes to .432 with a 40.0% hard-hit rate when he's on the road.
