4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 8/26/16
Owner of a .211 ISO on the season, Troy Tulowitzki has big upside against struggling rookie Pat Dean tonight.

Trevor Plouffe, 3B, Minnesota Twins

FanDuel Price: $2,800

Trevor Plouffe has been making great contact against lefties this year, with a 37.5% hard-hit rate. That contact hasn't translated to much production, but with a career .269/.344/.460 slash with a .349 wOBA and .192 ISO against lefties, despite a lower hard-hit rate, there's a lot of room to be optimistic.

Also creating optimism is today's matchup, as Plouffe will be up against Francisco Liriano.

Liriano has really struggled this season, with an ugly 5.21 ERA and a career-high 4.63 SIERA as well as a 22.0% strikeout rate and 12.5% walk rate, both of which are well worse than his career averages. He has been especially bad against right-handed hitting, with a .358 wOBA and a 4.60 xFIP, and this could be a big night for Plouffe.
