Nick Franklin is having the best year of his career, and while it has only been over 145 plate appearances, he is slashing .290/.354/.504 with a .364 wOBA, all of which are career-high clips.

The Tampa Bay Rays don't have a particularly high implied total, but Franklin, a switch hitter, does have a good matchup against CC Sabathia.

The 36-year-old Sabathia has shown some serious decline over the past couple of seasons. He posted a 4.73 ERA with a 4.08 SIERA in 2015, and he has a 4.20 ERA and 4.47 SIERA this season. He also has a 4.48 xFIP against righties this year, following the 4.31 xFIP he posted versus right-handed hitters last year.

All of this makes Franklin and Tampa's right-handers intriguing plays tonight.
