Kyle Hendricks will be on the mound for the Chicago Cubs, and while he is having a great season, he doesn't make for quite as tough of a matchup as it may appear on the surface.

Hendricks' 2.03 ERA is obviously stellar, but his 3.80 SIERA -- while still above average -- is a lot less intimidating.

Ryan Braun has been one of the best hitters in baseball this season, and his .401 wOBA and .301 ISO since the All Star break both rank inside the top 12 among 167 qualifying hitters.

It's not an ideal matchup, but it's also not so brutal that you'll want to pass up using one of the game's best hitters at a bargain salary.
