5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 4/3/17
Miguel Sano has fared well versus lefties throughout his career, and he draws a matchup against Danny Duffy. Who else should you target for big-time fantasy value on opening day?

Gerardo Parra, OF, Colorado Rockies

FanDuel Price: $2,700

While they may not be playing at Coors Field, the Colorado Rockies still have a solid 4.35 implied total as they travel to Miller Park to take on Junior Guerra and the Milwaukee Brewers.

While 2016 was a down year overall for Gerardo Parra as he slashed .253/.271/.399, his batted-ball profile leaves some real room for optimism, especially against right handed pitching. He cracked righties for a 35.6% hard-hit rate with only a 16.0% soft-hit rate -- superior contact numbers to the ones he posted in 2015 when he put up a solid .345 wOBA and .170 ISO against righties.

Last year was Guerra's first full season in the majors. Whole his 2.81 ERA was encouraging, he didn't throw nearly as well as that number may indicate, also posting a 4.42 SIERA through this 20 games. He allowed a 38.9% hard-hit rate with a 4.31 xFIP against lefty sticks, and he represents a very promising matchup for Parra.
