4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 4/5/17
One of the more consistent fantasy options of 2016, Jerad Eickhoff may go overlooked on tonight's 12-game slate. Which other under-the-radar options are in a good spot?

Tim Beckham, SS, Tampa Bay Rays

FanDuel Price: $2,100

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

With Matt Duffy sidelined to start 2017, Tim Beckham gets a shot at regular playing time. The former top overall pick of the 2008 MLB Draft has never really lived up to the hype in his 453 major-league plate appearances.

Why You Should Use Him:

While the 27-year-old has yet to make his mark at the major-league level, he did enjoy a nice spring with a .312 batting average in the exhibition season. He also has a nice matchup on Wednesday.

The Tampa Bay Rays will square off against Michael Pineda and the New York Yankees. Pineda really struggles with the long ball against same-sided hitters. Last season, Pineda actually allowed a worse slugging percentage to righties (.463), and 18 of the 27 big flies he gave up were to righties.

Beckham, a very cheap option, makes an appealing dart throw on Wednesday.
