5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 4/6/17
Mitch Haniger's impressive batted-ball numbers give him some serious upside at minimum salary tonight. Who else should you target for big-time MLB fantasy value on Thursday?

Carlos Beltran, OF, Houston Astros

FanDuel Price: $2,900

Less than a month away from his 40th birthday, Carlos Beltran may be past his prime, but he still has a ton of pop in his bat.

The switch-hitting slugger posted an ISO of .217 and .195 over the past two seasons, and he hasn't posted a hard-hit rate below 30% since 2003 -- with a 35.8% last year. His production is pretty balanced, though he has fared slightly better against left-handed pitching over his career, with a .366 wOBA and .233 ISO compared to a .365 wOBA and .214 ISO against righties.

He draws a matchup with a southpaw tonight, as Ariel Miranda will take the mound or the Seattle Mariners. As a rookie in 2016, Miranda posted a very shaky 4.77 SIERA, allowing a big 37.2% hard-hit rate and 54.7% fly ball rate to right-handed hitters, which makes this a great spot for Beltran to show off his power.
