His .329 wOBA being his best mark since 2013, while his .176 isolated slugging (ISO) was the third-best mark of his career -- and his best since 2008. He was especially good against left-handed pitching, with a huge 39.5% hard-hit rate.

On the other side of this matchup, we have Jaime Garcia, who is coming off the one of the worst years of his career, having posted a 4.67 ERA and 3.93 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) in 2016. He had an especially tough time with right-handed hitters, getting tagged for a .342 wOBA on a 32.6% hard-hit rate, and this matchup gives Reyes a nice boost in value.
