The Minnesota Twins aren't a team you're going to want a ton of exposure to, with an uninspiring 4.12 implied total in what forecasts as a cold-weather game, but Brian Dozier has a great individual matchup while likely hitting from the leadoff spot tonight.
Dozier's isolated slugging (ISO) has climbed with each season he has been in the Majors, including a .209 mark in 2015 and .278 in 2016. He has also seen his hard-hit rate climb each year, and he finished last season with a 34.7% to go with a 47.7% fly ball rate.
He was especially dominant against southpaws in 2016, slashing .282/.352/.613 with a .397 wOBA and .331 ISO on a 39.% hard-hit and a 55.6% fly ball rate.
He's up against a lefty in Derek Holland, who finished last year with an ugly 5.10 SIERA and 14.5% strikeout rate, getting tagged for a 34.7% hard-hit rate and posting a 5.54 xFIP against right-handed hitters.
