FanDuel Price: $2,600
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Jose Altuve will face southpaw Ariel Miranda on the road, which is a situation he enjoyed last season -- he posted an .885 OPS and 37.2% hard-hit rate against lefties in 2016. He's struggled to start the year, but has the past track record and name recognition that will demand ownership.
Cesar Hernandez of the Philadelphia Phillies doesn't really have either of those, and his 20.7% fly-ball rate from 2016 also doesn't help when it comes to fantasy upside.
Why You Should Use Him:
While Hernandez may not possess the most pop, he's been on fire to start the year, scoring at least 12.2 FanDuel points four times out of seven tries.
Matt Harvey of the New York Mets looked sharp in his first start, but he did have a tough time retiring lefties last year. In an abbreviated campaign, he allowed a .365 wOBA, 43.0% fly-ball rate and 33.8% hard-hit rate against them.
